PUT YOUR SAFETY IN YOUR OWN HANDS
By attending the North
Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun Class {CCH} a student completing the class
with receive a well rounded and safety education to earn the NC Concealed Carry
Handgun {CCH} certificate.
Students will receive the North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun Training text
from the North Carolina Justice Academy.
To provide the knowledge and skills necessary to for persons applying for a North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun Permit, in accordance with the requirements of the North Carolina Administrative Code.
► Learn the nomenclature, fundamentals of shooting, maintenance cleaning and inspection of a handgun.
► Learn the law of deadly force in North Carolina, including specific examples of when deadly force is and is not allowed.
► Learn the legal requirements related to the carrying of a concealed handgun with a North Carolina Concealed Handgun Permit.
After shooting at the range, each student will receive a North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun
course certificate to provide to the Sheriffs office of your county of residence
at the time of applying for your North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun Permit.
Class cost is only $75.00 per person.
The fee includes training materials and basic hands on instruction.
Student is responsible for their own range fees at $15.00 per person, payable in cash only to the range owner.

NOTE: Required items:
EACH STUDENT NEEDS THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
•Good Quality Handgun and 50 Rounds of Ammunition, Eye Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection
•Some types of ammunition is in short supply. Please do not wait to the last minute to obtain your ammo.
•Belt holster or suitable carrying casse. No cross draw or shoulder holsters allowed due to safety concerns.
•Hat or Cap with brim (to deflect hot spent shells and prevent them from getting between your safety glasses and eyes).
•Loose fitting clothing with pockets works best or a coat with pockets for ammunition and magazines.
